We’re seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Assistant at Power Tools Plus, Forbes.
The position involves manual labour.
DUTIES INCLUDE
+ Greet customers warmly and identify their needs
+ Provide expert advice and assistance to customers on tool and steel products
+ Assist customers in locating merchandise and making purchasing decisions
+ Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system
+ Maintain a clean and organized store environment
+ Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves
+ Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
+ Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally
REQUIREMENTS
+ Previous retail experience, preferably in a hardware or tool-related environment
+ Strong knowledge of tools and steel products, including their uses and applications
+ Forklift ticket (preferred)
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Basic math skills and proficiency in using a POS system
+ Flexibility to work weekends, as needed
