FARM GATES + STEEL + TIME

You can trace our foundations back to 1948, when Neville Doust started making farm gates and doing general welding repairs, and employed returned servicemen to help out. 

Not quite 40 years later, Jeff Haley pioneered a steel reselling service in Forbes to give locals better access and pricing, branching into hardware, tools and industrial supplies. 

Haley’s Parkes store opened in 2004. And then, in 2010, Lachlan Steel and Haley’s came together under the one roof, and expanded to Mudgee as well.

Our team still believes in the farm-gate values the business was founded on - a chat, a laugh, and a fair price for work well done.
